In the communities where we work, 75% of women cannot read or write. Through community centers, English camps, Tutoring, and a welcoming library, we open doors to learning and confidence. Education empowers these women to dream of brighter futures—and to recognize and stand against exploitation.

By developing eco-tourism in these regions, we are helping people avoid extreme poverty. Through home-stays and job creation, people are able not only to provide for their families, but save money for the future. We are helping in simple projects that improve the lives of the Nepali people.

In a few regions in Nepal, people are seen as commodities. This makes the poor susceptible to rampant exploitation. We are working to shift this view. Through relationships and seminars, we are teaching that every person has value and helping them realize the potential they have.

In the remote villages where we work, access to basic healthcare is limited and maternal health risks are high. We partner with local health workers to bring medical education, clean water resources, and essential care directly into vulnerable communities. A family that is healthy is a family with more choices and choice is what protection looks like on the ground.

We develop eco-tourism in remote regions, creating home-stays, guide training, and small business opportunities that put income directly into the hands of at-risk families. Through Empact Adventures, every booking funds this ecosystem. We are not just running trips. We are building the economic foundation that makes a community resistant to exploitation from the outside.

In many of the regions we work in, vulnerable families don't know what protections they are entitled to. We work alongside local leaders to strengthen community structures, educate families on their legal rights, and build accountability systems that make exploitation harder to hide. Strong governance at the village level is what makes every other part of this work last.
